But I also would never use a solution I don't fundementally understand and can replicate

so its usually a "I skip 1 hour of thinking about how to do this subpart of the problem"
Dr. Kribbles, I want you to see this assignment I have for a 500-level grad course at a real (joke) university
anyway rather than not knowing how to do anything without AI the bigger problem I see is people not being able to do anything on their own computer without a toy assignment setup
is the windows 11 version extra credit

ooh la la doctor thank you
It's so funny, because this university is so retardedly reputable

I think in 5-10 years we get a massive crunch on universities were all schools either spec into useless degree mills, or only take far fewer students to maintain rigour
and it's just a fucking joke

something's gonna break somehow yeah
my first joke masters was more real than my EE Masters
Replying to Kribbles #kribbles1 Is this.. the entire assignment? And not just the first of 20 parts or some shit?
yes
George Mason University
they basically gave up during covid, and became a degree mill
appak
Canadian schools for the most part all maintained standards through and post covid as far as I can tell
which I find funny
I have a small sample size of Canadian Universities
are they also all becoming retardedly expensive now too
for canadians anyways
for international, there is no cap on increases, so yes
Mine's still about 6k a year
Replying to Kribbles #kribbles1 Heyy my buddy went there for undergrad
They're builidng a statue of that figure skater btw
in case your friend didn't know
Canadian schools are such a great system for grad since all of them are required to fund you
oh, @Raccoons you might appreciate this too
the greatest skater in the world rn Ilia Malinin is from a couple streets over from where I grew up in Reston, and he practices at the Reston SkateQuest
(and goes to GMU, hence the statue)
Replying to Kribbles #kribbles1 He does not give a shit, he doesn't like the area lol. He did his PhD in Georgia Tech and he likes Atlanta more than DC.
hey, I almost went to GT for undergrad
really nice school, really expensive
He was there with a fully paid grad school, but his professor was.. interesting lol. Dude straight from China, would ask him to clean his house on the weekends, built a Gazebo in his backyard (not the girl PhD students because girls aren't made for physical labor), and when he had surgery on his ass, he asked my buddy to live at his house so he could change his bandages after the surgery. So, he got fired lol.

It's important for accurate polling data that as many answers are collected as possible, but due to the sensitive nature of the poll i imagined that there may be some who wish to abstain
