Phijkchu Dream; Spooky made me and a few other Phijkchu have to a full restoration on a dilapidated barn house thing; we had to remove a bunch of rotting material and used random lumber to rebuild things, and then when we were like 80% done, it burned down in an electrical fire. Spooky shrugged and said "fuck it" and walked off.

definitely sounds like a location known for its high ping and pleasant antique shops

but N. Virginia is imo this perfect level of density, where ~5 minutes down the road from those data centres you have unirronic horse farms
where there are multi-million dollar mansions and roadside pumpkin farms coexisting
it can't last, I'm sure this area will become hell in a generation
but when I was born and growing up, this area has a single stop-light and dirt roads
and now it's the literal top economic engine of the country
I mean, the have's are in a whole nother stratosphere
also
I just learned about this today
and I'm mad
