Rusp, it's so much worse around here
it'll drive down the street, bringing people their single biscuit and coffee
I'll point them out next time you're up here Max
in the mornings Starbucks, Chick fil A, and dunkin
doordashing dounuts unirronically
some people don't get that
but yeah, I used to sometimes order doordash when I was home sick and wanted something
but it ends up being a 50% markup, so I just stopped bothering
I think sometimes *technically* the time savings can be worth it, but the food quality is also so much lower
getting it schleped to you by some Indian mom in her minivan
this might just be me
but I also essentially never order takeout from real resturants
if I'm picking up fast food, that's different
but I'm never ordering from like, a real resturant, to then go and eat at home
you're in luck Max
styrafoam was banned in VA
a month or two ago
even chick fil a now, can't use styrafoam cups
from when?
if it was recent, you can get $100 for reporting them
appak
so for small buisnesses
they have until July 1st, 2026
wait no
the AI lied to me
and it's $50 not $100
sorry
Starting July 1, the state of Virginia will be implementing the first phase of the ban on polystyrene, also known as Styrofoam. This ban will affect food vendors with 20 or more locations. However, for local businesses in the state, this will go into effect in July 2026. Managing partner at Texas Inn, David Saunders, said they are glad to have this upcoming year to prepare.ig cookout sucks too much to be effected
good for cups, bad for containers
