I have a minor bug to report for the phiijkchu/ rawb.art website
If you click pause on a video and go to minimize the browser fast it will resume the video once you click minimize
If you pause you need to wait like 2 to 3 second before minimizing to make it not resume the video
I’ve been watching it while doing overtime at work and when someone from shop asked me questions I pause and minimize
It not a big deal as I just click mute on the keyboard if I did it too fast but thought I’d let you know
yeah, that's a known bug unfortunately
I've fully replaced the video player once, to try to fix whatever was causing it
but I've not been able to diagnose the root cause
it's not a mainline peertube bug, so there is the option to rebuild from that and then try to migrate back into that as a new instance, but given the size of the DBs, I've not really wanted to attempt it
I appreciate the bug report though, I'm somewhat hoping when I roll the next ver. I can look into fixing it again
@Dane will apprecaite it too, since he's the other person who wants me to fix that bug the most lol

We are only a drafting team of 12 with 5 us being mechanical 6 being electrical 1 being structural
And the shop has a team of 200
that's a big shop, carrying 12 drafters on-staff is no joke

less about the individual instance today, and more generally about the entire semester
I know plenty of people, who had that happen, and essentially had to ask "is it worth even continuing this semester or at this school at all" when you're looking at a bunch of admin changes or never-ending strikes
which is bad enough on its own, nevermind when you're also paying thousands of dollars for that
This term is for sure a wash, the class I am TAing for only got 1/4 assignments marked, and exam marking is going to be a mess
my undergrad didn't have one while I was there, but then covid happened right after, and since then I feel like I've not heard from anyone who has had a full 4-5 year college experience without losing at least 1-2 semesters, sometimes more
This one at queens is particularly bad because it is for sure not ending this term and going into the summer
