We have no idea, or at least I don't. I'll answer this personally, and not as a Dev for this part, but I think steam takes a laissez-faire approach unless it touches on a big societal no no, (outright racism seems fine, but encouraging or inciting for genocide would be a no likely) or stuff involving minors or lack of consent. I don't think this game reaches any of that level, but we did at least consider what the public would think for some material, but usually decided to go with what we thought Gent would do. Steam has historically struck down on things like Rance, also one big Japanese publisher had a game I can't remember but it got removed involving an underaged character.

yeah this is kinda fucked up but it has to be this way otherwise you can just give a billion keys to guys in a giveaway and ask them to leave a positive review or whatever
