how is it going to function different from muting someone or a DM/group?
I wish you could see stats of how many people have others muted in a server
that would be interesting from a mod/admin view "37 people have this user muted"

I want it to make a post that only a user can see that says "NOTE: {user} cannot see this message because they have you blocked" if I am in the same channel as the guy posting
just because that would be funny
I think I just don't understand the implications that blocking/ignoring is supposed to have
I feel like it can be interpreted a million different ways, on both sides

I meant that more about my own understanding
it feels like blocking is compelling the other person to take some form of action, because it's explicit and Discord tells them
where are ignoring someone or just muting a DM/channel would have the opposite effect (to a point)
but reading comments, what people seem to actually want is to erase the name/pfp of the person they block, on-top of expunging messages+replies from public channels
idk, I accept that my view is the outlier
but if someone blocks me, my expectation is they want me to do something
versus just being left on read or w/e

around here there would be so many to check it wouldn't be worth it
We are getting a ton tomorrow, but that is not impressive

although kingston is where the big prison in Ontario is that you get sent to if you did something actually bad
