I'm surprised Vancouver out West, has the same clmate as Virginia
If Canada warmed up 30 degrees, maybe would could stop piling indians into toronto
and move them farther north
we are way ahead of you
northern canada is on fire
(I know you meant burn the oil)
If any of you guys need taylor swift tickets, I have an in
Why would you?
There is zero ambiguity when you say toronto
if there is ambiguity I do, so I will say london, ON
but Toronto, Ottawa, etc I would never
I feel like you'd rarely do it in the US either
unless you're talking small town, or a Polu situation
Seattle, not Seattle, WA
fair, though ig in this case it's almost treating Canada as the state then

twitter.comThat's such a good picture
the board looks like he's coming out through a portal
thats an awesome picture
So I'm watching the olympics
and someone just busted out a song from an obscure 2010s indie game for their routine
Only time anything from Spooky's playlist will be heard by actual people
amazing

New NFL kickoff rules: Onside kicks are illegal before 4th quarter The team must be losing to kick an onside kick Team must announce intention to kick an onside kick ahead of time Thoughts? https://t.co/oo3CBv5ReF
twitter.comI mean, this is all sports though, in order to keep "growing" they have to attract audiences who don't like them, by changing themselves to be stupider
but for w/e reason, current fans keep watching/paying, so it keeps getting dumber
the reason this was done, is because on TV, they sell ads to overlay over the game during kickoffs, and want to be able to guarentee there won't be anything exciting people "miss" when they do that
I can't find an example of what I mean, but it's been happening during the Olympics all the time
oh, here we go
when they do this thing, where the game gets minimized and the ad takes over the screen, and it plays ad audio
they want to do this during NFL kickoffs, so they want to guarantee they don't accidentally miss an exciting play
NBC olympic coverage is bad enough that I think any other country would execute the producers of the coverage
You couldn't get away with this shit anywhere else
they don't even cover the events, they'll have a camera fixed on the American player's ass as they stand off in a corner stretching
while someone else is actually competing
even when the US is basically out of medal contention
and every commentator they have can barely speak
The entire thing is on the level of a mid-tier YouTuber
here's a screenshot
this is how bad it is now
I assume so, I don't think there's any ad-free broadcast, even on streaming
CBC and BBC/Eurosport are better, but have less total coverage
feels like less total coverage this year too
maybe ~40% of events are getting coverage by NBC
