it's a catch 22, states that have enough resources to care and segregate, end up trying for the bottom 20% anyway, so they get the tax dollars states that are too poor to care, didn't have the resources to segregate, so they get the tax dollars because the standards are so low

idk about my states stuff though. i never looked into it, and i wasnt a failing student and i never encountered these issues personally

I like the education system in a lot of ways but I feel like teachers good will gets bought up and given away by whoever hires them and that ultimately leaves us with a bunch of depressed burnt out teachers that should be better

i don't think i should have, but i was very frustrated with my school at the time and i hated going in the first place. because it was extremely boring and i also got some amount of bullying, though not physical abuse. so my issues werent funding related issues
