I got my username no problem
Discord definitely didn’t need the new system

I opened the app on my phone to answer a dm and it said “pick your username?”
the reddit post was 100% accurate about how it worked
such a dumb change
I think it would’ve been less dumb if it gave the option to grab a username before being prompted
