Replying to taxes #tzfi this has beenthe practice in the tripple A gaming industry for like 5+ years now
I feel like I've seen one or two games that tried to make the digital extras an "experience", but most just give you an MP3 folder.
Honestly why the fuck do people care though, just download the flac/MP3 files yourself, from a better source quality anyway.
Some devs don't even bother with a separate Steam listing, it's just a folder in your game directory

so it's basically random

even the fucking track names it just takes from a csv file the devs have to supply

i mean it's not like anyone really wants or needs it to be that good, it's basically just a way to donate to devs
or for devs to hope people buy it for some reason
you can't beat just having the files loaded into foobar2000 or whatever other audio library player you wanna use
