In the year 2036, the "2036 Problem" occurs, where an incident involving computers leads to the destruction of major cities around the world. A similar event is expected to take place in 2038, so a supercomputer called Gaia is used to create an alternate Earth using an Earth Simulator in order to study the possible effects of the impending catastrophe. The experiment was initially inconclusive because of the possibility of low birth rates in the alternate Earth, so a message called the Arecibo Message was used to allow humans to live there. However, humanity in the alternate Earth then creates their own Earth Simulator which leads to questions about the original Earth's existence. The game takes place in 2037. The protagonist, a hacker named Pollon Takaoka, has an ability which allows him to save and load moments, much like save features in video games.[1]

I'm conflicted on stories about the nature of reality and "what's real"
they often irritate me, similar to you with time travel
I like when its because the mc is a skitzo like chaos head
idk why I didn't like C;H when I watched it
I might give it another try honestly
it was so long ago
Its super crusty and old, but honestly, I think it adds to it because of what the show was
Usually I hate the early 2000s style of animation
CH is retarded, but I like it
Honestly, all of the none SG animes are kinda retarded, but other than Robotics Note, they all have an element or elements I find interesting
I think the creator has neat ideas, but perhaps not the best execution (although idk if that is an adaptation issue or a baseline story issue)
They're really neat VNs, putting aside everything else
More than just a straightfoward story being told, like with other popular VNs
They're kind of a mess at times ofc

CE is lame
Steelbook, but no disc, only a download code
But it also includes a replica of the game's version of Mjolnir
So I'm conflicted on it
Collectors editions are always a scam
It's also, I'm pretty particular with only wanting swag from something I REALLY like
And mainstream stuff is honestly less appealing
