I assume you're also watching the Starfield trailer again
idk what I think about the direction
I'm extremely curious how bad a state the game is in
I don't think we see it until Holiday 2023
The buildings were the big thing to me
I knew the characters/weapons would draw heavily from Fallout
But for a game set in 23XX
To look like it's still the American 1960s
I'm glad they showed real gameplay at least
There was one shot in the trailer
Where when you scan the planet Mass Effect 2 style
It highlights areas of interest
No, I think
You can land anywhere, but Bethesda is highliting the places where there is real content built on the planet
But if you land elsewhere, it'll be ai generated "wild planet" stuff
NMS and Star Citizen have made their barren planet sections somewhat developed
I feel like if Bethesda had an interesting gameplay concept for them, they would have said
So I'm expecting generic radiant questing, mat gathering, wildlife cataloging
I wonder if they're going to have flora/fauna diversity?
Or if every planet will have recolored mudcrabs
