Has anyone here played Rogue Legacy 2? Loved the first one, but after I beat it once it didn't feel like it had much replay value.

Dunno how much time I put into the original, pirated it before buying & the saves carried over to Steam, so I only have a few hours logged on Steam, but it seemed fine lengthwise for the price.

Idk, I found it had good replay value. Have not played 2 though

I think I felt the replay value was all the time put into actually beating the game in the first place.

And now to never play it again

Was it worth it?

Or: Did you have fun getting 100% achievements?

The last few achivements sucked, but it was alright

I never actually beat stardew before so that was fun

I really like the game, but I utterly fail at playing it without mods; I at least need the one that shows info of crops & animals(how many days left to grow, etc), and one to stop the in-game clock, because it often feels there's WAY too much to do in the game for the time it gives for an in-game day.

Though once you're pretty much finished with the mines, have automation for watering crops & such, and have gotten relationships up with villagers, there's not much of a need to pause the clock.

I would not do the clock one because that defeats the entire point of the game

but I did use some basic info mods

i played it on switch so no mods for me

i did get the good grade from grandpa though, so i did pretty well with the first 2 years. its more than enough time to do everything

I just rush the mines before I focus on crops anyways

usually finish the mines by day 6 or 7

Not using it nonstop, but it's REALLY annoying sometimes when you have gifts to give to like five different villagers and someone goes in their room and you're locked out because you missed them by one in-game minute, so you go onto the next person and it happens again. It's also really annoying to invest too much into farming & livestock early in the game and end up not being able to go to do certain things because you've spent so much time on your farm and the clock has run past whatever it is.

Not saying it's not cheating or anything - most of the time it could be avoided by planning ahead and managing my time better - just that I'm not using it nonstop. Next time I play, I'll try without it for a good while, see if I have grown more patient over the years for the buildup of minor annoyances to one big annoyance.

The info mods, on the other hand, I'm 100% using still. If I wanted to play a game where I had to keep spreadsheets for shit to keep track of anything, I'd just be playing a wrestling booking sim.

Which mods were you using, btw? I think the only ones I was using for info was Lookup Anything and Experience Bars.

Oh, I used NPC Map Locations. Honestly, I forgot that was a mod.

I'm not familiar with UI Info Suite.

A lack of so much info is why I never finished Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning. I put it down for like three weeks after playing it for the first time(for a couple weeks), picked it back up, and had absolutely zero clue what the progress of my crops, animals, relationships with villagers, etc at the current time were

So much so, that I ended up starting over, keeping a spreadsheet of everything going on in the game, because if I stopped playing for even a couple weeks, I would have no clue.

And it's an ~80 game to finish.

So NPC Map Locations and UI Info Suite 2 don't clash or put the info on the screen twice, then?
