The god stuff is alright

elves are just kinda ???

I like the approach to the aedra in how they have many names by many cultures

but aedra literally do nothing

except akatosh once

i also dislike how skyrim basically said lol fuck Morrowind it's all ash now xd

they hand out the occasional useless artifact in skyrim so the gods do something Kappa

aedra don't though

and they don't even give them out

and then the daedra give out shit tons of stuff

amd every game reuses the same artifacts

so somehow between oblivion and skyrim hermeus moras oghma infinium

and they're only like 400 years apart??

and it requires dwarf blood to open

or like how conviently all the pieces of mehrunes dagons razor are in skyrim

maybe the daedra just really felt like it

I will say though, skyrim has A LOT more references to Morrowind than oblivion

which i didn't catch until now

like dunmer scream nerevaine in combat and there's tons of other Morrowind style things like dwarven ruins instead of ayelid

maybe bethesda just hates oblivion (good)

All the tes elves are pretty shitty to everyone and the thalmor want to unravel all of creation or some shit and return to being immortal energy... things... people... something

bosmer are generic friendly forest elves

dunmer are... assholes kinda but they're not bad people

bosmer eat other sentient beings

they just all are from the same place

orsmer are generic fantasy orcs

orsmer where and are kind of yeah... and elves

falmer were kinda assholes and 1/2 we meet is a vindicative asshole

generic orcs are the rapey pillagey kind that kill everything

idk anything about the water elves

dwarves were monsters

orsimer are more isolationist than that
