I 100%ed it on PS4 and computer

I think both had benefits

Movement is a lot more fluid on controller

spooky would play fighting games with m+kb

wasd gives you 4 direction inputs, which you augment with your mouse a joystick gives you 360 direction inputs, but you can't augment them
