BotW 2 looked fairly identical to the first one so far

It’s rare that any two installments have so much in common, in part because Zelda games rarely ever have direct sequels

i dont know how theyre going to change the bottom of the world enough

there's the skylands or whatever

I guess the uh remanents of skyloft

that never fell

since technically not every island fell

only the main one where most people lived

It’ll be neat if you could do some launch tricks to reach the islands early

but how do they change hyrule

My theory is when Calamity Ganon died it rebirthed Demise

i mean its clearly demise

especially with the castle flying up

Demise tried to recreate skyloft

hopefully theres like

a timeskip

between botw 1 and 2

so hyrule can "change"

just flood hyrule again

i mean

make it a bunch of islands

flooded hyrule would be cool

The divine beast were really lame

I think they did it the best way for an open world game. You have dozens of shrines scattered around, 4 larger story-based beast puzzles, and then hundreds of korok seeds

so is link just going to hit his head and have to do 100 shrines again

I think them doing shrines is more of a Switch design philosophy decision. They want it so you can play in short burst. Look at Odyssey with the 900 moons.

Odyssey also handled it well

we dont get 100 more shrines

or

9000000 more korok seeds

oh if theyre going to copy skyward sword

bring back the timeless zones

those would be really cool with botw movement

I would want bigger objectives rather than a million small ones

you cant craft like an actual puzzle or like sneaking area

Because they have to include some sort of collectathon aspect for this game

when you have infinite movement options

i think you can

nintendo is smart enough

But a million small ones makes more sense

its the three houses problem

you cant make good maps when you have infinite tools
