OK, I've played an hour of Hood, that 4v4 heist game we were talking about
I have very strong feelings about how badly they've fucked this game
because the core is actually pretty fun
but everything outside the game is bafflingly designed
what sealed me refunding it
is that it's one of those games that hides stats to not make players feel bad
you can get achievements for getting a bunch of points
but there's no scoreboard
or match history
no logs
no post-game text chat
and I get, that every class has a different roles, so k/d/a isn't the only metric
but that's what (((points))) are for
the matches are still "fun" but a game like this has zero staying power
oh well
4 classes is also REALLY light
even for a $20 game
they said they were rolling out a 5th at launch
but this game needs ~10 to really be interesting
yeah, if it's a limited number of classes but you have a ton of skills/weapon optionsfor each
that can work (thought it kind of defeats the purpose of classes at some point)
