What part/boss are you at?

I haven't fought any of the dreamers yet

currently just exploring all the side paths I skipped for one reason or another

yeah there are a lot of those

right now it's crystal mound

absolute hellhole

oh ok, on the other side of the map from what I would have expected

I think most people go West and loop back around that way

so, neat that you're out East

I've been all the way over west too

I did crystal peak pretty early I think

but never finished mound

since I got so god damn tired of the little crystal bug fuckers

I think the Crystal Peak/Resting Grounds bosses were some of my favorites

I fought the bench fucker

and hated him

yup

his timing is wacky

resting grounds boss was sick though

honestly all the bosses have been really cool

don't worry

I did mantis lords really early and that was fucking amazing

there will be exceptions to that soon enough

Early mantis lords is the true gamer path

I've been using magic for dps a fair bit yeah

also so far, favorite bosses are definitely lords followed by broken vessel

both were fun and challenging fights

not a fan of how broken vessel jumps sometimes, but otherwise really fun fight

That's a weird fight

and mantis lords were just sick in general

decently difficult and completely fair fight

I feel like broken vessel would be a much better fight without the adds

don't think they're really necessary tbh

but it's fine as is

RoR 2 did not sell well this year

Gearbox just had their earnings call today

across PC, Switch, PS4, xBox, and Stadia

it sold <0.5M in 2020

it's at 3M lifetime sales, but that's a pretty terrible sales tail

it just fell off a cliff way before early access was over

3M isn't bad, the devs are still rich as fuck now

but I'd be a little pissed Gearbox didn't do a better job publishing/promoting the game in 2020
