thats a big oof
purple is the guy criticizing dreams guy
that would never happen
I can see them blanket banning him from speedrun.com
since he keeps doubling down
for good reason
he deserves all the hate and more
he did not even need to admit to it
he has been a bitch about it, trying to discredit the mods since they released their report
outright lying by saying "I have been told by several people on the mod team that they disagree with this rulling and will be quiting"
which is untrue
He is younger than some of the mods
also his claim that he got a harvard astrophysicist to debunk this is funny as shit
I do not trust an astrophysicist to do proper statistician work
they learn the stats they need to do astrophysics, not this type of analysis
I would wager whoever wrote the mods analysis paper at a minimum has a bacholers in stats
maybe even a masters idk
it was a good analysis
maybe they are just a really smart person with a stats minor idk
they have at least done formal stats to some degree
beyond what I have done in my 3 stats courses
his out is the fact that I doubt even 0.01% of his fanbase understand enough math to appreciate the mods paper
the response paper is mostly in words
not math
he is the mod of his own subreddit so he has just been banning anyone who talks about this
and twitter is full of his retard fans
you can bias statistics, without a question
rusp, the thing that kills me
is the "its a one in a billion chance you were born"
or "maybe dream is just really unlucky in his offline practice runs to balance it out"
that one is probably my favorite
because that is not how it works
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak is the "its a one in a billion chance you were born"
hold on did they actually use that argument?
I have seen many people bring that up
the usual response to it is
"dream got hit by lighting 1500 times in a row, he's just that lucky"
The appropriate response is that due to quantum fluctuations it is possible for a brain to materialize in front of you
Dream is jesus but he is so good he did not even die the first time
He turned bread into ender pearls and water into blaze rods
