as far as the guns themselves, idk. I think I prefer L4D but I don't think it's a fair comparison yet
I think the animations in this game are fucked
zombies snap to their pretty animations
and it looks bad, and feels bad
the pistol?
I didn't have one so I didn't get to see
the zombies sliding around made it feel like I was getting hit from 6ft away
unlike L4D where they really mob you
the charger was much worse, but I think the basic zombies doing it was more annoying
I also didn't feel like I was getting slowed as much as in L4D

in L4D single zombies will slow you to base movement speed al the time
here, it felt like I was running around a lot more
maybe it was a card for me
I think they were more generous about lone zombies bringing you to a full stop though
I thought I hated the store at first (and I still might)
but I felt like there was a LOT less stuff on the map
which is bad imo
L4D the reason you don't just bumrush the end is to pick up stuff
the 1st stage at least, felt barren
store should sell buffs/cards/perks or something
not basic shit

I'm not spending 1/3 of a healthkit on a grenade

on uh, normal/hard
the fact you don't get healed
or get healthkits
idk how you're supposed to do it
the easy heal between stages is like the free kits you get in L4D
without those though, I think this game would be brutal
even when you know the maps better

there will be a yearly $30 expansion pass
plus in-game skins and stuff
But people are pointing out that's exactly what the devs did with Evolve, but they went F2P after 6 months
Well it's Turtle Rock, it's literally the guys who made L4D1
Then they did Evolve and Deep Rock Galactic after leaving Valve
I was wrong, I guess they weren't the deep rock galactic guys
Dialga posted it earlier, I wouldn't be surprised in Microsoft/xboox does the same
the game doesn't run on the old consoles, by any reasonable standards
you've seen the clips, idk how the console version got past QA
I mean, I'll defend the game itself as being fun
But it launched in a terrible state, literally unplayable on last gen consoles and runs like hot garbage on PC and PS5
