I'm shocked how good this Mystery Dungeon game is, for originally coming out in 2010
story is somehow worse than PMD
which PMD
any
thats a low bar to be worse than
it also hurts not having pokemon
I can't tell village loli #7 apart from village elder #5
but with pokemon they're all so distinct, even if they're just there to spout the same 2-3 NPC lines
really proves to me how perfect pokemon is for this genre
anyway, if anyone wants me to throw this game up on the Cult drive I can, it plays like a cross between PMD and OneWayHeroics
aka, every Chunsoft game nowadays
I like both of those things
but I will pass
