Achievements exist mostly for that small portion of players that will become obsessed with completing the game

I think achievements are a lot of fun

sometimes they're pointess, and you get all of them just by 100%ing the game

But should that just be a community-decided thing

Because any player can make a challenge for themselves

I find that achievements are a really good way of adding directed challenges, or getting me to play in ways I wouldn't otherwise play in

sometimes they don't need to be "achievements" you can contextualize them in the game or something

Paradox achievements are the best ones I can think of
