first trailer looked like another DS1 remaster
now it looks like a honest-to-God remake
Unrelated to Souls, benchmarks are out for the RTX 3080
in non-RTX games it's ~70% faster than the 2080, and ~90% faster than the 1080
in RTX games it's ~100% faster than the 2080
pretty much exactly as advertised
I think the 3070 was confirmed for October 15th
and the rumours about a 3060 wouldn't be until next year, if at all
lmao
you have to remember, with the all-digital push
they're getting an even bigger cut too
no longer have to pay gamestop 30%, or pay to print/ship the discs
I mean the bigger problem is this will justify other companies following suit
and then 70 dollars will be the standard forever
it's been an open secret for a while Pika
CDProjekt commented on it a while ago
said they weren't sure
well rip
but that everyone else was going to $70
100 dollar games for me
it just makes more games move to the "will just pirate" pile
not even to save money, (most) games just aren't worth that much
some games are "worth" it
but blanket price setting is more and more obnoxious
be willing to charge what a game is worth, it doesn't devalue your fucking brand
if anything overcharging devalues it
a 70 dollar game is held to higher standards then a 20 dollar one

no, I don't think that's it
they seeded that to news outlets already
no, the PC port is already set to be 6 months later
1 thing that i was curious about but was confirmed was the start of the ff16 trailer looked like a shadowbringers trailer to me and yes same dev for ff14 is doing ff16
That FF16 trailer was slick
I think it lends itself to better character writing
but we'll see
I'm still pissed about the price hike
I read the whole statement
they annoucned a range to be fair, and said their 1st party games will be $70
I assume everything AAA will target that eventually
on all platforms
