I watch zero pro dota

I had decent data on this I watched a majority of the group stage and had a decent idea on which teams are actually in it to win it and who is on fraud watch

but I did have fun watching a little at work today, so I put it on again

but to my surprise and chagrin many of my teams that were on fraud watch did not actually lose

like yandex

I still think BB's draft is better, though I don't have a deep appreciation of the frog

largo is fucking insane

he's so valuable to a draft

he does so much

he is literally a walking radiance tank who giga buffs your entire team

all of his spells are insane

he has a shitload of base hp that he beefs up with a shitload of armor from just using his ult correctly

extremely strong support

giving 90% slow resistance to your entire team could be an extremely strong buff on an extremely strong item and it already exists with boots of bearing

I don’t understand why dota and league are premier esports

largo gets to do that constantly

I mean to me, I read him as a worse Bristle

good for stacking auras and staying alive

but not as snowbally and doesn't have a huge teamfight ult like dark seer or tide

yes he is similar to bristle in his function and use, he stays in fights forever and is extremely hard to keep down without specific debuffs to him

but his staying around forever is also giving utility to his entire team

spell amp and magic on-hit or movement speed and slow resist or just straight mass aoe healing

and he can do 2 songs at once with the scepter

hustle and blitz are enough to make most offensive teamfight starts extremely hard to stop

his shard is also funny he can give self buffs to allies

like blade mail or lotus orb

his itemization is also extremely flexible he can buy literally any support item or bkb/scepter and use it well with minimal questions asked

tl;dr bristleback but he buffs his entire team instead of debuffing the entire enemy team

league is easy for the normie to understqand because it has "hype moments" (read someone getting a lot of kills)

its very easy to understnad what happene sin league because its a simple game

impressive plays in pro dota are a lot more complicated to understand

you ahve to understand how 80 mechancis tied into eachother or even small things like creep management or eco

league is a normie farm and dota is an autism farm

which makes dota a lot harder esport for the average hype moment or good play to go recgonized

which covers like most of humanity

is very cool in dota when you see it done quickly
