I played it last year for awhile in a period of deep sadness. I understand why people prefer how reactive and arcadey it is compared to Dota. That said having no way to counter with items, and the community being actually insufferable makes it not worth playing

Heading to EVO tomorrow. I haven't competed in tournaments since the last evo, so I'm getting a lot of familiar anxiety bubbling back up. It's an oddly a comfortable anxiety. I hope to make this EVO interesting, and am happy to play friendlies with anyone who's there!
