Update (positive) on that, I joined the discord for a different switch emulator and they were very friendly and polite and had no obsessive rules about anti-piracy. (plus their emulator doesn't crash)

One thing I like about open source emulators, is people will just fork because of obnoxious devs and make the same product with a single change

I think I mod 50% or more of games I play at this point

I like azahar (the modern fork of citra now that it died), just dislike the devs of the main branch

Sorry, I did add the balancing mod in Civ 5. Science is just too powerful and the best strategy is to either hide in a corner and grind science, or blast 20+ crossbowmen and then go back to science.
I did a full update for all my emulators recently
/replacing with better modern ones
