Theres something very satisfying about wandering around a russian tunnel, hearig the ticking going off, random screams in the distance- or complete silence. wiping blood off of your gasmask, it slowly cracking from combat, stabbing yourself with meds over and over and watching in real time your kit run out
Rusp, you would like the non-story parts of the game
I just don't know if you'd like the narrative sections
Rusp, since you like Fallout, I also think you'd like Exodus (maps 1 and 3 especially)
they're different games sadly
also, Redux is the version to play
for 2033 and LL
they got actual compatability patches

metro extraction shooter
since they're actually calling it 2039
it's got to be a normal mainline I'd home

getting a commission, planning what path through the subway takes you out on the surface closest to your objective
randomized weather (weather in metro is really good)
bringing enough gas mask filters
avoiding the critters and random factions, then making it back underground

Replying to taxes #tzfi this is always cool, and a book detail but the games never used it well
I think the difficulty and ranger mode sorta made the whole currency thing never work
you'll essentially never shoot good bullets in 99% of combat encounters
