I wasn't chasing 100%, but I completed all the major questlines which feels like the intended non-insane completion point

if it's fun ill 100%

the issue is, some of the 100% criteria are the meta rdr2 game systems

(this is super minor btw, I'm missing tons of actual stuff too, it's not like this is the only thing between me and 100%)

My only actual advice for you Max is to fuck around with the graphic settings a bit, their implementation of DLSS is weird and that's the one thing that I think could filter you

Spiffing Brit's video on the Vampire Survivors deck builder game was intriguing. If that game has the same price point as Vampire Survivors I will probably get it

the open world was cool

the only open world i want from them

is one with a massive city

with interconnecting subway tunnels

that you can actually map out

this would be an incredible game

if done right

actually taking the idea of some tunnels are damaged, some places need you to use the surface to get around

but i feel like no matter what it wouldnt be done right

i dont think open the world is the right word for that anyways

i think what i dont want is an open world but a world that is open, but youre heavily handheld/pushed through it

a lot of older games used to be like that

and that kind of genre is completely dead

I say this not to trivialize it, but it should be easy to do

the metro formula

the REAL metro formula

is kinda perfect

Sandbox with constricted maps

it doesnt even need to be super sandboxy

handhold me like the actual games, but give me a small tight knit sections at a time

maybe with a lot of backtracking

with the zone changing

the first two metro games had some back tracking with the areas changing

and it worked really well

a large city with a bunch of major tunnels, and then like 3 factions warring and the state of the area progresses over your playthrough, with routes being destroyed and more dangerous options being forced

would be really really really good

Metro is a series I have been mildly interested in for a long time because it is probably the game series I have been recommended the most in my life

I think out of any series I would play it's probably at the top of my list... do I start with the first game or whatever or is it a skip the first game scenario

Theres something very satisfying about wandering around a russian tunnel, hearig the ticking going off, random screams in the distance- or complete silence. wiping blood off of your gasmask, it slowly cracking from combat, stabbing yourself with meds over and over and watching in real time your kit run out

theres 3 games 2033, last light and exodus

original 2033 has its quirks but its still good, but they later updated it in the last light engine

its called like 2033 redux
