this actually looks really fun

i think they knew they wantd to make this for a long time because the design philosphy of hamlet and DST are pretty ddifferent and hamlet is actually really fun for what it is but beacuse DST was built off of base dontstarve it had to adhear to a lot of its progression

having interirosr, elevation, swimming, and a lot of the other stuff from the base game removed as barriers makes me feel like itll end up really good

also since DST was running into this issue where they kept adding stuff to the end of the game and to experience any new content you had to play a world like 80 hours

these three screenshots alone

make me really optimisitc for it

the 3d elevation also looks really good only thing im iffy about is those cave doors 💀

it doesnt angle snap anymore

DST with the lessons theyve learned, no like 10+ years of technical debt and progression debt from the original game, and the cool stuff they did in hamlet

i think it will be a really good game

I'm assuming it's 4-player co-op though I didn't see it anywhere on their steam page

so its probably fine

Cult of the Lamb people are weird

DST before it became its own progression, was just dont starve but balanced for 4 players instead of 1

so everything in DST has super buffed hp

but if you played DST solo, which you would because it has more content than base dont starve by a lot now

youre still dealing with 4 player scaled enemies

that have 4-8x their hp

Hopefully multiplayer doesn't have a delay like the last one

I have to finish the last few quests, but then I'm uninstalling it

really liked it btw, I think it's good to a degree where you spend a lot of time thinking about the game design and such

I wasn't chasing 100%, but I completed all the major questlines which feels like the intended non-insane completion point

if it's fun ill 100%

the issue is, some of the 100% criteria are the meta rdr2 game systems

(this is super minor btw, I'm missing tons of actual stuff too, it's not like this is the only thing between me and 100%)
