We do in fact notoriously hate eachother (truthful)
The Max and Pika WW random race arc was the peak of our friendship points
Yeah, WW is the most "new item changes everything" of the 3D zeldas
MM being sort of like that but not as extreme, and OoT being way less
PH has the same problem as Zelda 1, where there are TONS of just random hidden things you need a guide to find
and yeah, if the 4 map quadrants are still linear, it's hard to actually advance
There's no saving Spirit Tracks though
idk how you'd make that non-linear

PH is a good game, and it feels like they actually cared about making a DS Zelda game

you're right which is super funny
you know, the Zelda lore actually went off the rails fairly recently, when you only count games like that too
Zelda is dead now unless nintendo decides to just say fuck it and stop doing the modern zeldas despite normies liking them

I did not 100% them, did put something like 80 and 90 hours respectively into both
they are fine games, but they are not good zelda games
