Lethal did a good job actually making progression
so many of these games just reset to zero way too often
I want to try Klietka again sometime, now that it hit 1.0
and looks different

either MM or WW depending on what kind of zelda you prefer
OoT is the tier below
I have no idea about 2D zeldas
Link to the Past is the best 2D, Majora's is the best 3D
though there aren't any really bad ones
BotW/ToTK is my nomination for bad ones
if one exists
I was trying to think how Spirit Tracks would work too, and wondered if that one existed
Hourglass is actually ok as a rando
OoT is the most straightforward of the 3D zeldas worth doing, MM is longer but you get more freedom as to where to go
WW is very open because of how open wind waker is
I've done a lot of randomizer runs of all 3, I would rank difficulty as WW > MM > OoT
We do in fact notoriously hate eachother (truthful)
The Max and Pika WW random race arc was the peak of our friendship points
Yeah, WW is the most "new item changes everything" of the 3D zeldas
MM being sort of like that but not as extreme, and OoT being way less
PH has the same problem as Zelda 1, where there are TONS of just random hidden things you need a guide to find
and yeah, if the 4 map quadrants are still linear, it's hard to actually advance
