the baby mobs thing is just a mod, and I honestly am not a fan
there was some charm in all the mc children mobs just being scaled down normal mobs
The cows look ok
but the baby chickens look like particle effects
they hate how minecraft looks/ the design elements
as evident by statements like "we would never have added the creeper today"
but they are stuck because people do like the old designs
and those who do not, can just get texture packs
i'm gonna say my line that i always say in this situation
modern minecraft is just a minecraft mod
that way of thinking is much better imo...
my mindset is it's fine if they add more stuff BECAUSE it's basically just a mod to the base game
which exists somewhere on the gradient of time
that nobody would ever agree on
Replying to Kribbles #kribbles1 But like... why keep adding more stuff, Minecraft already has so much shit for new players to do and the point of it (for me) was that you have the freedom to do whatever, not that you are forced into a pipeline of nether -> ender pearls -> dragon -> elytra and now I rule the world
They have to update for Bedrock babies who have no mod support and must* buy skins
I prefer them adding stuff rather than just declaring Minecraft done and shelving it
but I do wish modern mojang was more reverent to legacy stuff
Sometimes it feels like a bunch of new devs just dislike anything "old"
I think they are too scared to ruin the golden goose so they just do fuck all nothing changes
and when they do actual bigger changes, I usually think they suck
I think there is a lot of progression, but then you hit the endgame and because of what minecraft is, you sit in the endgame for most of the total playtime
is what tiny meant to say
