I'll leave vc if people tell me they'd rather I do that
I usually just wander off
And I might be back in 5 minutes, I might not
Feels weird to leave and say bye if I just come back 5 minutes later
Its fine

Rusp is popping off
Field of swords
holy shit its fate unlimited blade works
alternatively its the one scene from soul eater episode 34ish
I think they are vaguely aware of it because of the new seasons at least
>old
>battle shonen
>long
not worth watching
old relatively
obviously
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak I think they are vaguely aware of it because of the new seasons at least
I feel like it permeates shit like Roblox Ultimate Anime battle games so theyve at least seen ichigo and his cool big sword in some way
Yeah
I think it is far from anime battle shonen slop culturally irrelevant
I do think it is the least culturally relevant of the big 3 of that era
right now
I like the stupid hair jetting out at the bottom look
looks like a bird

Vision of Marathon: New Gameplay, Dev Insights, & More
Explore Marathon’s darker sci-fi setting & survival extraction gameplay in today’s ViDoc.
www.bungie.netlmao
March release, $40
it's 100% not ready even if its way better than where it was
it ended up being a 6 month delay, but their changes feel like they could have been done in 2 weeks
Maybe it was spent prepping post-launch maps or w/e
so the game has more content updates hitting weekly after launch to sustain the "hype" they're praying they get
Arc has a lot of issues, but it was fun
Marathon is not nearly as fun and gets in its own way more often than not
it's grindy and purposefully kicks your balls in because that's part of the "experience"
Arc also somehow has the bigger scope
from maps, to objectives, to player interactions, to items/loot, to even fucking cosmetics somehow
While also being simpler to play/manage
2026 Concords
Jan 26 - Highguard - F2P
March - Marathon - $40
TBD - Fairgames - $40
Perfect Dark would have been on this list, but its already been canceled
We will never see this data, but I wonder what a graph of % of games in developement cancelled would look like. Obviously most games that get cancelled I assume are so early in dev that there would be no announcements
but I feel like there is a ton of games that are worked on for 4 months to a year or so that just die never to be seen again
and that number is probably crazy specifically these last 5 years
everyone's going to call it something else, but that's what pre-production is usually for
small scope stuff get 3-6 months, any actual games 12-18 months
Yeah, I am curious what percentage of stuff basically makes it out of pre-production then just dies
It should be <1%, tbh
but it's been creeping up
It should be, but I think it is probably deceptively large
I think the lines of what is/isn't pre-production has gotten blurry, because of how dev teams work
where devs will be rotated between projects and such, and games that "made it though" pre-prod are still years out
Also true, and also considering some shit gets released way before it should anyways
and they patch it to a workable state
