Missed this a couple months ago
The Recettear localization guy killed himself
rip
They did a cool thing, in 2009 a depressoid and his friend from Something Awful were able to pitch Gabe into allowing them to publish on Steam
They have an argument to say they were the first indie publisher on Steam, and their success contributed weirdly a lot to other Indie publishers and Japanese localization efforts overall
Their proof-of-concept with Recettear set in motion a bizarre amount of shit on the JP side with fairly major IPs
And it sucks that the lead dude was never able to steady himself

Skimming the changelog, they added another 40ish characters and almost 10 new stages
