she's easily one of the best

I think her, the dancer fights, and First Sinner are all good

First sinner is definitely my #1 fight

idk why I didn't like Last Judge more, I'd have to refight it to figure that out

I also wasn't a big Last Judge fan. Nothing outright wrong with it, aside from the runback being a bit annoying (though obviously not the worst) but his attacks and patterns were moreso annoying than anything else.

no runback in the game is bad compared to the bilewater boss runback, even if you find the secret bench closer to that boss

that was the last boss I did, I never found the surgeons key my first time through

ok I beat it

poison tacks shred this thing so getting to phase 3 then using them works well

thats how i reached that flea, i used reaper crest though., though i heard there's actually a not-pogo way to get to it

I got them all except literally that one because I figured it was impossible. I didn't even try pogoing haha

so apparently there's like some fan or something you cna turn on/off to make that climb easier

I’m beating the final boss at 93%, can’t be bothered to throw myself at every nook and cranny to find the last flea I’m missing and the last ore and couple of tools

it looks like there is a third route into act 2 in silksong if you can somehow double jump or maybe lure a pogo to the entrance of wisp thicket

with no lure it would be a rando thing only

idk if you could go all the way to and through wisp thicket into the citadel proper without double jump

actually it looks like you can glitch the entrance to wisps but the game blocks you from progressing in act 1

the runback is way worse than the actual bilewater boss

No, I don't think so really

that's weird to say, I feel like there should be something, but I judge every game fairly individually

We've had the discussion about Devolver a lot, where in the past them being attached to an indie game would say a lot about the quality to be expected (and TinyBuild would imply the opposite)

now neither carries almost any weight of expectations

I definitely feel like there are a lot of cases of a dev or publisher being attached to a product marking it as lower quality, but I can't really think of anything of the opposite

If Annapurna was more selective, I think they'd be an easy answer

but since their weird psuedo hostile takeover thing in 2023/2024, they publish a lot more stuff

3-4/year on average, to 10+

The only one I could think of currently, is Hooded Horse

though they have a certain niche of game they look to publish in the first place

especially since devolver imploded itself

I think the age of indie publishers is dead, any good indie game is basically self done or the publisher is not the thing selling the game
