my stuff has finally arrived so now I can play on a monitor instead of a portable projector

I wonder how much latency the projector had and if I will even notice

projectors are all over the place for latency

I don't think I could get used to the light isolation part of using a projector

even good ones that will look passable and not wached out in high-light rooms

the mask shard here was the most painful unfun thing I had found up to that point trying it without double jump, but with double jump its pretty easy and almost fun

in the room of the savage beastfly refight there are explosive rocks in the ceiling that you can access with very tricky jumps off the fly

they reset if you lose the fight and I could only get one. Does hitting both do anything?

the refight is less bullshit because it doesn't spawn those stupid massive flies

killed the diseased chef boss

that fight is very easy once I figured out the patterns

doing 1.5x damage compared to before didn't hurt

so ive noticed that Karmelita has a fun thing where each of her double damage attacks actually count as two hits happening simultanously. Meaning all my protections against instant death like the dice and cracked skull are nullified

fucking awesome

yay a boss with no silk regen at all and hard tracking explosive double damage projectiles

luckily the boss fight is really easy to offset the terrible circumstances of it

i'm doing so much better today than when i was using the projector so I will retroactively be blaming bad screen latency

Juggle was the hardest for me

though they all suck

made me yearn for more of those dumb races or knife throwing

juggle was the only bad one for me

got dodge and bounce within 2-3 tries, but juggle took me so long

I figured out the strat

she's easily one of the best

I think her, the dancer fights, and First Sinner are all good

First sinner is definitely my #1 fight

idk why I didn't like Last Judge more, I'd have to refight it to figure that out

I also wasn't a big Last Judge fan. Nothing outright wrong with it, aside from the runback being a bit annoying (though obviously not the worst) but his attacks and patterns were moreso annoying than anything else.

no runback in the game is bad compared to the bilewater boss runback, even if you find the secret bench closer to that boss
