I think heartgold is arguably one of the best pokemon games made
Last pokemon game I interacted with was not a pokemon game, it was a porn game
it was not good
There has been an official battle sim announced
It was overshadowed by ZA tho
It’s called pokemon champions
It’s likely not as freely editable as showdown but it’s got connectivity to home
And the mainline games have methods of pseudo editing your mons
It’s easier in scarlet and violet than any previous game to get a competitive ready pokemon (discounting the rampant hacking)

I don't even think the US will be the last to root out the monopoly of the payment networks, it's such an easy way to bump the GDP and start rolling back the unsustainable debt US citizens have
Visa/MC will still exist, don't misunderstand
But the payment networks and the credit bureaus will be nationalized
So businesses can process payments without giving Visa/MC 5% of every transaction (and as a side benefit, freedom of speech protections or w/e)
Government won't start issuing consumer debt directly, but with open networks more banks can just offer their own CCs
And debit cards 100% won't be processed by Visa/MC
