I'm only an hour or so past the tutorial, but I like the Alters so far
Wasn't expecting to
Still have a sense that the game is going to peak early and drag out like Blue Prince did
Devs honestly probably shot themselves in the foot with how they did their opening, feels and looks like knock-off Death Stranding, when that's not really the game
@Regi I got spoiled on the new nekopara game. It is going to be a masterpiece

I've completely cleared Nightreign now, these were my final tierlists
beat the final lord with every class, beat all their quests, and cleared all the different map events/bosses
I think they did a really good job designing classes,
The B tiers are *fine* with proper items, but if you get bad rng they suffer
my overall only issue with the game is that the runs take too long and when you're on a bad run day 1, you just want to reset
more minor, it's a little "solvable" because of how limited the map randomizer is
so the game definitely gets to a stage where you feel done with it
wrangling retards was the hardest part of the game, but once you show people the proper way to rotate through the map, they pick it up fairly quickly

I'm halfway through The Alters, it turns out it's a hybrid VN-factory game
it's good, not great
worth a torrent or ~$15 if you want something involved to mess around with for a night or two
very Polish, thinks it's deeper than it is, and weirdly the writing could probably stand to be a bit funnier
but it's fun
