apparently Infinity Nikki has had some serious amounts of drama

I need details
Uh, some scattershot of things I heard in the random drama video I watched on it just now.
- They did fake discount events in the shop
- There is a monthly pass where you get premium currency, but you must log in every day to get full value for it. Because of an issue on their end, a bunch of people who were playing via sony could not log in for 2 weeks, and when emailed about the premium pack were told "you should have logged in on your phone, we are not doing anything about it"
- Apparently a recent update made it so dying items cost a special item that was hard to obtain or you could buy in the shop
- There was a bug that let players accidentally pick up more special currency that intended. They just removed it from the players even if it was already used so a bunch of people were left with -100 gems or whatever on their account.
- Apparently there is some steamdeck issue where it claims it is supported but it is not or something, polu told me about that one.
- People discovered that individual pieces of outfits have different drop rates that are not disclosed, so they are mad that it was hidden that among the 5star pool for example, different 5 star items are weighted differently (discovered via datamining).
- There was some issue recently, and to make up for it they gave everyone 8 pulls worth of currency, but you have to log in every day for 10 days to get it all.
There was other stuff, but people are mad is the tl;dr
also apparently the changed the game story for some reason
and people who liked it were mad
what a sad state of affairs

So the stuff most people would actually want (hair and dress) are way less likely than the shit no one cares about
they should make it so the left sock has way worse drop rate
Oh right Pirate you reminded me of another complaint
instead of most outfits requiring 8-9 parts to complete, they upped it to 11-13
so you have to pull more to complete your set
thats another thing people are mad about
How do you like that they learned nothing from 2042
and are just doing specialists again

I'm sure we'll talk about it when we make predictions
but I assume No Mans Sky 2 (whatever it's called) will be the game of the show
I think they close Marathon within 12 months, and then try to pivot to some sort of D2 spinoff
they don't have the people to make a D3 I feel like, and can't start that now while they have zero games in the market
idk if you saw, but the bungie spin-off studio is making their version of Deadlock

Replying to Polar_ #polar_ My friend thinks Microsofts plan is promise steam, on board people onto Xbox with it, then remove steam from Xbox and windows and replace it with the Microsoft store. Idk what he's smoking
