the game is out of early access now, and the crack for it is going to be interesting this time
the Linux and MacOS releases are DRM free, so it's likely easier to just have it run via WSL than to do a full DRM bypass
I want to play a match or two, zero intention to buy the game from what I've seen

Did anyone get into the Elden Ring beta?

Avowed torrents are up
game "releases" next Tuesday

and yeah, wtf were Obsidian thinking
release a $90 version of a single player game behind an early paywall, that is normally priced at $70, for a game that Obsidian themselves have said is worth $30-$40
torrents are decently fast at least
let's see how scuffed the character creator is
I'm expecting it to be a decent game
just vr limited in scope
I think their initial plans were more ambitious, but Microsoft pretty clearly wanted Obsidian spending their time elsewhere
so this ended up becoming gamepass fluff
