it turns out it wasn't a new game
this trailer is kinda comical, I caan see the visual differences... but like.... maybe try a little harder
I think I like the old graphics better (which I think I also used the old in regular stronghold definitive), also do not care for the new update of the music and... oh no, new units. That could be bad
they're keeping the classic pathfinding too, which makes the new animations look off
I worry for FireFly, I feel like the nostalgia market for Stronghold has been tapped quite thoroughly at this point

I liked what I've played of stronghold 1 remaster, but crusader was always more of my game
So I am excited for this
Other than having skirmish mode, Crusader is faster paced
Funny that stronghold 2 went back hard toward the og's "castle sim", and kinda fucked it up
I wish the og had skirmish
Stronghold is a franchise where honestly they have no idea what to do with the ip
its such a mess
but yeah, the lack of skirmish sucks for the og
This is really autistic and long (222 pages) but is a harbinger of the impending game industry crash
this is a presentation for investors, as to why the game industry is fucked long-term
the tldr is literally: everything is fucked, the industry is a balloon with no possible future growth that can save it
it's nothing anyone here doesn't know
but this will be a major weight for computer trading to devalue gaming stocks and will likely ward off institutional VC funding
