at some point in 2022, the original LD forum guys disapeared, and a community moderator took over
which looks like why it's a clusterfuck now
new guy claims to have "been around since the begining" but he's clearly just some nut
it looks like the 2022 guy got the Twitter and domain from the old team, or maybe the twitter was held by a group and he just took it over, unclear
I think it's a non-zero amount of work to manage, so I get why a bunch of notable indie vets don't want to take it over
but it sucks to see it die due to mismanagement

end of an era
RIP Bioware
I thought they'd at least try to shove the next Mass Effect out
they realized at some point in Dreadwolf's development it was fucked, and pulled staff
I mean true
if the entire studio folds, I think EA might sell off their other couple single player studios too
yep, Anthem failed, ME:Andromeda failed, and Deadwolf failed
their good staff left after Anthem

Cliffhanger Games - (Currently developing a Marvel Wolverine game)
Criterion Games - Burnout, Need for Speed
Frostbite Labs - Frostbite Engine (Technology, not a game series)
Full Circle - Skate (revival in progress)
Motive Studio - Star Wars: Squadrons, Dead Space (remake)
these are their only traditional studios left
ignoring DICE, Respawn, and Maxis, as real multiplayer studios
