Sorry Spooky, we were talking about it in VC and watching the trailer last night

I can stream it sometime when you're less busy with being home or w/e
it makes me want an actual platforming gacha so fucking much
I am going back to kitchener on sunday, but I am free anytime before them (minus getting my assignments done)
it's objectively a nothing game, but it's so high effort at being that sort of early 2000s nothing game
with basic, baby's first platformer mechanics and an open world
like clockwork

the PR guy who tweeted that got chased off the internet
his name was Xananax
the guy had a Discord meltdown, and then started fighting people useing the Godot twitter
got bullied, ran back to Discord, and then got bullied until he ran off
Godot dropped him or declined to renew his contract or w/e
the Godot foundation wasn't actively running the godot social media shit, they had some company doing it
now they're doing it all directly
no, so
I think the situation is that the biggest legacy godot server was never "official", or at least it became "unofficial"
which is what he was a moderator of
not the "official" one
he's still a mod in that one i think
I think he's gone
this was his last tweet, and then I think he left the internet
I'm sure he'll be back, but I think people really hate him now
I'm still pretty sure the godot foundation was outsourcing thier social media to some 3rd party company
if that's different than the Xananax drama, and they just happened to occur at the same time, that's funny
I think they're going to dial back and lay low for a while
