losing the lane shop imo is the big tilter

because they they fuck off to go farm medium camps

and you can go kill them easy with wall+turrets

wall also counters all the annoying 1v1 lane abilities

T2/T3 turrets also do way too much DPS without needing spirit

literally just need bullet lifesteal--->intensifying mag--->glass cannon

and you kill everyone

last time I played all the items i used got super nerfed

so I have no idea what to buy now

Shiv was the first character I felt like I really really good at

and then they reworked him a bit

not to be a contrarian, but I really don't think Deadlock is well designed, I get that meta shifts rn are very fluid, MMR is broken, and all the other growing pains but I really just think at its core the game isn't one I'd enjoy other than I like tilting people in a relatively low-skill floor shooter

in dota, many normal items BUILD into utility

i.e. you get the root when you merge it into gleip

etc.
