idk how they didn't realize the genius of Skyrim's pause menu
not being an overlay
in development module 0.01, when they had that feature working
they should have ditched it
when they realized it sucks
That old game, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, the Arkane game
also an Elder Scrolls style of pause
I hate controllers
I hope with consoles dying, they die off

I played og Oblivion on console as a kid

everything they show looks bad
mats are a mistake in most games
you don't need to harvest berries and milk bushes for shit
to craft with
it works in games like MH, where that's the point of the game
but any other game, you're never going to go grind mats, so it's always just a shitty tacked-on system
where you need 1 of a bunch of random shit you are gated from by the story
and when you get it, magically you can craft now
so all of your upgrades are lame and come from a menu

for the skills
how did Skyrim do this so much better
in 2011

I don't even think Skyrim is some perfect game they need to copy
