Wukong is an interesting game so far
Max, you're really going to like the flavor
but I think you knew that already
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 Wukong is an interesting game so far
what settings are you on
defaults, all very high aside from the 2-3 settings they start at high
turned motion blur off
and kept DLSS on, but not with frame gen
I'm getting 90FPS ish, but no drops
so I can't complain
I've beat the first 4 enemies with health bars so far, but made the mistake of fighting them in order
instead of beating the awoo and then doubling back to beat the bull and fire bro
that first miniboss imo is the hardest of the bunch
the english dub gets a lot better after the intro
Chinese sounds better than Korean to me, but I still think it's and ugly language to listen to
Korean is actually F tier
Chinese is a C, C-

did you fight the big blue headed miniboss
yes, that was the first one
uh, maybe I'm forgetting then
maybe not?
the ground pound guy is who I was thinking of
oh, I was ignoring him
yes lol
I had more trouble with him for sure
and you can't even absorb his soul once you beat him, until later in the story
I feel like I would have had a better time had I leveld up my health or stamina at all before fighting him
rather than dumping my 3 points in light attacks
and being too lazy to respec them
you get staff upgrades
same with clothing
it's definitely a soulslike, but it's the furthest departure from souls combat for sure
this game is much easier than sekiro so far
Sekiro you can't level past stuff, where I feel like Wukong looks like you'll be able to get major power increases via your skilltree
not a bad thing
but compared to sekiro's attachments or w/e they were called, which only had minimal upgrades
it's cinematic af though
and all the jttw stuff goes over my head for sure
