I think 5/16 of the characters have a decent design (excluding default soldier)
but of those 5, 2 are just copies of Guardians of the Galaxy characters
I am impressed none of them have vitalgo or whatever its called
That is another thing I saw on twitter, I never realized how much these weirdo's like that and want everything to have a character with it
all these character games need to launch with 30 characters minimum imo
OW had 21 on-launch, but added 5 or so in the first year
Overwatch did the right move though even for their roaster size
they hyped you up with pixar animations
so people were attatched to the characters right off the bat
Hell, I never played the game other than OW2, but I still think foldly on the characters from the early OW1 animations
the question should also be "is this character design something that someone would want to cosplay"
not for 100% of characters
but it's a good fallback if you're unsure about a design
I went through,
Mushroom head is okay
Haunt is alright (can't see her, full suit)
The pink robot is okay but is ust a rip off of the blue robot from guardians,
the fat yellow robot is funny
Those are the 4 I think are decent
The 2 guardians of teh galaxy clones I counted too
and Pika
Haunt is their class

I see pronouns, I just assume the thing next to it is the name
Tactician - Improved reload speed
Ranger - Lower weapon recoil
Haunt - Higher mobility
Anchor - Higher amount of healing received
Breacher - Lower Dodge cooldown
Warden - Increased weapon range
these are their classes, instead of DPS, tank, support
These names tell you nothing. If you said you were playing a ranger, I'd assume higher range, possibly better mobility
the way the game works Pika, is matches are best of 5
and after you win, the class you won with is locked (not just character)

if the playerbase was big enough that you could reliably queue as your character

first, screen is black until the game loads in
second, screen opens, all the characters are on random places on the screen
you have to race to get to the one you want
3rd, you can make a higher skill cap mode where the characters are moving so clicking them is harder
it's neat because it replaces getting flamed for picking a "bad" character, just because you like them
if there's one in every game
yes, you can still underperform as a meta character, but that's already a thing
but I think it would be fun for people (the majority) who really only play one or a small handful of characters

So how does Friday at 6:30pm EST sound for AP, under the assumption that the session should (hopefully) only take 5-6 hours at most and midnight is hopefully fine on a weekend for everyone. I can do it earlier, but I might need to dissapear for 15-20 minutes to get food if we start earlier
