I went into the alt-final boss with no upgrades, and that was my cope as to why I couldn't beat it
and then I got my upgrades, and it was still kicking my ass lmao
Replying to Wuvwand #loveland Yeah there isn’t a lot to be spoiled on for Hollow Knight necessarily but experiencing it for yourself and learning the mechanics feels so gratifying. Slowly getting better at it felt like how I think people feel about soulslikes, some fights feel impossible at first but eventually you find its actually very fair (edited)
