I like Z3, but don't think the combat is hooking me enough from what I've played so far I think WuWa combat was a good evolution on Genshin Z3 is simpler than either of those or StarRail, but that's only part of my problem, the entire isolated combat module just feels off I'm not sure if the type of game this is at its core works with itself, because the major game systems just feel in-conflict with the limitations of other systems in the game The original vision of ZZZ as a social-hub minigame fest is interesting in a way I at least appreciate them trying because they nail the style of this game, the music and animations have so much soul, embraced Chinese hipster alley idk if that works on its own while also being a flagship gacha title, but I don't think the complete package is something I'd strongly recommend to anyone rn

Satisfactory 1.0 update is September 10th

I like it less than Factorio (despite playing Satisfactory first) but it's still pretty fun

i like it more than factorio because i dont like being attacked by bug swarms

My man, I just turned them off, maybe if I ever got more comfortable with the game I'd turn on combat.

Satisfactory can be fun with friends, but that applies to just about every game

i didnt know you could turn off the bugs lol

but i also prefer the 3d evironment of Satisfactory more. the bugs was the biggest issue though

factorio is the game that made me realize i don't actually enjoy the factory management type of game

it's a really good game

but i dislike it

Factorio ended at the perfect point, I was surprised how much I liked it tbh I was reluctant to ever buy it because I assumed I'd "solve" it too quickly When I did end up playing it, I really enjoyed learning the systems through trial-and-error

maybe because of that, I'm surprised the expansion they're doing is a whole lategame multi-planet thing

because it sounds like.... a lot of needing to play super efficiently

There are definitely turbo autsist out there who are excited I'm sure

I haven't played Satisfactory in years, my worry is not much will have changed from the early alpha/beta

because it felt like the kind of game that could use the modded minecraft treatment

of just TONS of resources and production chains

and world exploration stuff, kinda like subnautica

I know they didn't want to do combat, which cool, fine

but hopefully the game's scope expanded over time

may actually watch GDQ for once for like an hour

fluteless NMG may actually be interesting because normal any% is very boring to watch
