I still think the story is a little overbearing, I'm not yet skipping it all but I'm close
when it comes to games like this that are meant to be developed over a long period of time, i found skipping the story at the start, can be pretty harmful to the enjoyment of the game. at least for me, even if its not impressive at first.

seems like late game Palworld is balanced around playing on a server because you need to AFK so much to get reasonable amounts of the new crude oil resource
